Waterfall Park

You build an amusement park on towers rising from the ocean, and the only way to get the plots and attractions you need is to talk your neighbours out of theirs. Six rounds, then the most money wins. Each round you draw plot cards and attraction tiles, then the table opens for trading. Anything goes: plots for plots, tiles for tiles, money for a promise, three-way swaps, no fixed prices. When haggling dies down you place your attractions, and matching attractions on adjacent plots pay income every round, and a completed set pays far more than a scattered one. That income funds next round's trading. A reworking of the classic Chinatown, it is for five friends who enjoy arguing and want a game where arguing is the mechanism. We suggest it for game nights and team-building sessions built around negotiation. Not one for a quiet couple.
