7 Wonders: Architects – Medals

This is an expansion and requires 7 Wonders: Architects. It adds two new wonders, Ur and Rome, new science tokens, and a scoring element called medals. The goal is unchanged: build your wonder and gather the most points. Medals are the main change. One medal is placed face up between each pair of neighbours, next to the card rack they already share. Whichever of the two first meets the condition printed on it claims the medal, banking 4 points for the end of the game. The new science tokens add options such as keeping military cards you would normally discard. Nothing here lengthens the game. Buy it if your family or game-night group has played Architects enough that the same wonders feel familiar, or if you want more direct rivalry with your neighbours. It teaches in a minute and keeps the game at its usual brisk pace.
