Trio Mini

You are hunting for three cards of the same number. Everyone keeps their hand sorted, smallest number on one end and largest on the other, while the undealt cards sit face down in the middle. Collect three matching sets and you win, or win on the spot with the set of 7s. On your turn you reveal one card: either end of anyone's sorted hand, yours included, or one of the hidden cards in the middle. If two revealed cards match, keep going; if not, everything goes back and your turn ends. Because hands are sorted, every reveal tells the table something. This is the Mini edition, a pocket-sized box with the same cards as the full Trio, so it fits a café table. Rules take two minutes, children play adults on equal terms, and the spicy mode keeps regulars interested. Our go-to for a family or a coffee-and-cards evening.
