Tetris Stax

A physical version of the falling-block puzzle. Players take turns drawing Tetris-shaped plastic pieces and fitting them onto a shared upright tower, trying to complete full rows just as on the screen. Each completed row scores, and pieces that stick out or leave gaps make life harder for everyone who follows. It is a light stacking game that lives next to Tetra Tower and Crazy Tower on our shelf, and it is one of the few games where knowing the video game gives you a real head start. Quick to teach to children, and fine for two. The pieces are solid, so it also survives being left out on a coffee table.
