Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza

Deal out the whole deck. Going round the table, each player flips their top card onto the pile while chanting the next word in the sequence: taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza. When the card flipped matches the word being said, everyone slaps the pile, and the last hand down takes all the cards. Three special cards, a gorilla, a groundhog and a narwhal, demand a gesture before you are allowed to slap. First to run out of cards wins. It takes thirty seconds to teach, fits in a jacket pocket and produces a lot of noise, so it makes a good warm-up before longer games. Four is the ideal number; with eight there are too many hands for one pile. Teenagers and adults enjoy it about equally, and it is a fair choice for a family who want one game the eight-year-old can beat the adults at.
