Stack 'n Stuff: A Patchwork Game

You pack a moving truck, and every sofa, lamp and box is a differently shaped tile that must fit your grid. It is a simpler two-player Patchwork. When both players reach the end of the time track, the best-packed truck with the most money wins. Three furniture tiles sit ahead of a marker on a ring. On your turn you take one, pay its cost, advance your pawn on a shared time track by its loading time, and place it on your truck. Whoever is furthest behind moves next, so a cheap quick piece can earn two turns running. Or skip the tiles, jump ahead of your opponent and collect a coin per space. At around twenty minutes it is a tidy head-to-head puzzle for a couple or a parent and child, and a good first spatial game if Patchwork's buttons felt like one rule too many.
