Spot It!: Marvel

You hunt for the one Marvel character or emblem that two cards have in common and call it out before anyone else. Each round card shows eight images, drawn from Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America and the rest of the roster, and any two cards share exactly one. Reveal a card, everybody scans, the fastest player takes it, and the biggest pile at the end wins. Four more mini-games in the rules reuse the same deck. The trick with themed decks is that the pictures are less abstract than the classic set, which makes this edition an easy sell for a younger sibling who knows the heroes but not the game. It plays in ten minutes, needs no reading at all, and is a good first thing to put on the table at a birthday.
