You are drawing a subway map on your own sheet, one line at a time, while everyone works from the same card at the same moment. Each sheet shows the Tokyo or Osaka network as a tangle of lines with empty station boxes. When the twenty-card deck runs out, the highest score after penalties for unfilled stations wins. When a card is flipped, you pick a line, write its number in one of that line's boxes, then fill in that many stations along the route until you hit one already marked. Lines have only a few boxes, so every card spends a limited resource. Stations where lines cross pay star bonuses. It sits with the paper-and-pencil puzzles on our Family shelf and takes about twenty minutes. Six people play with no downtime, and it works as a quiet solo puzzle too.
