Mazescape: Labyrinthos

A maze for one player, printed on a big sheet that folds and unfolds in your hands. You set the pointer on the compass at the start and slide it along the white paths without lifting it, and the only way forward is to fold a panel so a corridor on one side meets a path on the other. Bridges, ladders and dead ends send you back and forth to the exit, and each map hides side objectives for a second visit. This box has seven maps across the docks, a graveyard and a mountain, and the first is deliberately gentle, which makes it the better Mazescape title to begin with. Nothing to set up, nothing to read, and fifteen minutes to an hour per map. Good for travelling, for a break between longer games, and for children who like a challenge they can carry.
