How Many What?

A card asks something absurd: how many school buses weigh as much as a blue whale, or how many peacock feathers tall is a T-Rex. Everyone writes a guess, the guesses are lined up in order, and then each player bets on which one is closest. The answer is revealed, and points go to whoever guessed nearest and to everyone who backed them. Being a good judge of your friends' guesses scores as well as being right yourself. There is nothing to learn and no way to be bad at it, since the questions are designed so that nobody knows. It runs about twenty minutes, works from three up to eight, and we put it in the same drawer as Double Ditto: a pencil-and-paper opener for a family table or an office group before something heavier.
