Every card in the box is a song, with a QR code on one side and the title, artist and year on the other. Scan a card with the free app and the track plays from Spotify. Say where it belongs in your timeline of cards on the table: before this one, after that one, or between. Flip it, and if the year fits, the card stays. The first to a timeline of ten songs wins. You do not need to know the song, just a rough sense of whether it sounds like the eighties or the two-thousands. Everyone hears every track, so the table ends up singing more than playing, which is why it comes out at birthdays and at the end of game nights. It needs a phone and a Spotify account, and the songs are largely Western pop, which suits some groups better than others.
