Codenames: Duet

You and one partner are trying to contact fifteen agents hidden among twenty-five word cards. A key card sits between you, and each of you sees a different side: nine words are your agents, three are assassins, and some agents overlap. Find all fifteen before the timer tokens run out and you win; touch an assassin and you lose. A turn is one clue. You say one word and a number, and your partner points at cards while each pick is an agent. A bystander ends the guessing and burns a timer token. Then you swap roles. This is the Codenames to keep at home for a couples' evening or a quiet night for two. It is slightly harder than the party version because you are both clue-giver and guesser, and the campaign map adds missions that squeeze the timer. Its word cards also work with the original.
