Exit: Kidnapped in Fortune City

You are hunting a kidnapped sheriff in a Wild West town, and the box is an escape room on the table. Riddle cards, strange items and a decoder disk are your tools; each solved puzzle produces a code that unlocks the next part of the story. You finish when the sheriff is found, and your rating depends on how few hints you needed. This entry breaks the usual straight line. Fortune City has a saloon, a bank, a gunsmith and a jail, and you choose which to visit and whom to question. Components still get folded, cut and written on, so the game is single-use. A firm mid-level puzzle for the series, with a whodunit on top of the riddles. Ideal for friends who have finished a beginner Exit and want a second, and one of the more story-heavy boxes on our escape-room shelf.
