You are a thief sneaking into a dragon's mountain to steal an artifact and get back out alive. The board is a dungeon of tunnels; the deeper you go, the better the loot. Each time you make noise, cubes in your colour go into the dragon bag, and when the dragon attacks, drawn cubes of your colour become damage. Get knocked out below ground and you score nothing. It is a deck-builder. You start each turn with five cards and play them all, generating skill to buy new cards, swords to fight monsters and boots to move. Bought cards cycle into your deck, which shapes your route and your risk. It sits at the lighter end of our Strategy shelf and is the deck-builder we suggest to people who bounced off Dominion, since it has a board and a story. About an hour, best with three or four.
