The open box is the board. A cat's face stands upright in the middle with a hole for its mouth, a black nose ball and three white teeth balls sit in place, and each of you gets four yellow balls and a magnetic paw that flicks. You fire balls through the mouth at your opponent, or knock the nose and teeth loose, and the round ends the instant every ball of one colour has ended up in a single half of the box. The player on the other half takes the point.
Two players only, but rounds last under a minute, so a crowd forms and takes turns. We keep one out in the café because it needs no explanation: hand someone the paw and they are playing. Good for a couples' evening, for children of seven and up, and for the wait until the rest of your group arrives.
