You are a cat in a spice-eating contest. Cards show one of three spices and a number, and you play them face down onto a pile, announcing what the card is. Your card has to follow the previous one in spice and go up in number, or so you claim. Anyone who doubts you can challenge the spice or the number and flip the card. If you were caught, the challenger takes the pile as points; if you were honest, you take it. Emptying your hand ends the round with a bonus. It is the old game of Cheat with more nerve, dressed in gold-foil artwork. Plays in fifteen minutes with two to six, and there is nothing to explain beyond the announcement rule. We would suggest it for a group that loves bluffing but finds Coup too cutthroat, or a couple who want a quick cat-and-mouse game after dinner.
