Point City

You are building a city out of cards, taking two at a time from a shared grid. Cards are resources on one side and buildings on the other; resources give you what you need to construct buildings, and buildings score points and sometimes produce resources of their own. When the deck runs out, the most points wins. On your turn you take two adjacent cards from the market. Resource cards go into your city as permanent income. Buildings need a specific set of resource icons, and everything you already own counts toward the cost. A sequel to Point Salad, but heavier: the same drafting, plus a small engine that snowballs by the end. Plays well at two, and has a solo mode. We would suggest it for a couple who enjoyed Splendor and want more variety, or as the second game of the evening once the fillers are done.
