Cockroach Poker

Nobody wins this game. One person loses, and everyone else enjoys it. The deck holds eight kinds of unpleasant creature, eight copies each. On your turn you slide a card face down to another player and announce what it is, truthfully or not. They can call your bluff, saying true or false and flipping the card, or peek and pass it to a third player with a claim of their own. Whoever guesses wrong keeps the card face up. Collect four of the same creature and you lose. The rules take two minutes, the game takes twenty. It is the bluffing game we hand to people who say they are bad at bluffing, because the stakes are silly and the tells are immediate. It plays fine at two but sings at five or six, and it makes a sharp filler between two heavier games on a Thursday night.
