Ace of Spades (Revised Edition)

You are a gunslinger with a grudge, walking into a haunted Arizona cemetery to finish the necromancer who ruined your life. The game is played alone, or by two as a cooperative pair, against a deck of his minions and finally the man himself, Lord Overkill. Your weapon is poker. You build hands from the cards you draw, and pairs, straights and flushes are your attacks. Fail before the final duel and the story ends there. Each round you manage your hand, decide which enemy to take on and which poker combination to spend on it, and use the few special effects you have to bend the odds. Forty minutes, light-medium weight, and a strong solo mode. This is the one for an evening alone when nobody is free, or for two who prefer a shared campaign to a rivalry. The Revised Edition is the current printing.
